Harry Kane is the first English Ballon d'Or winner since Michael Owen in 2001. On this episode of the Project 90 Soccer Podcast, Antonio and Marco react to the result and ask whether the voters got it right.
In this episode:
* Kane's season: 73 goals for club and country, 61 for Bayern and 12 for England.
* Whether Mbappé or Lamine Yamal were snubbed, and where Rodri fits in.
* Other award winners, including Alexia Putellas's third Ballon d'Or, Yamal's Kopa Trophy, Unai Simón's Yashin Trophy, PSG and Barcelona as club winners, and Bukayo Saka's Socrates Award.
* The big debate: is Kane the best English striker ever, or even the best English player? Rooney, Owen, Shearer, Bellingham and Jamie Vardy all come up.
